About me
From London streets to obscure towns overseas, I’m Adam L. Maloney, founder of TUFFCOPY. As a copywriter and content strategist, I turn words into conversions, leads, and engagement, without the corporate fluff.
After graduating from London South Bank University with a first-class degree in Writing for Media Arts and winning the Course Director’s Prize for Outstanding Achievement, I started my career as an English teacher.
But seven years ago, I finally got serious about writing...

Since then, I’ve crafted copy and content for major brands across the USA, UK, Canada, and Europe. At Oppizi, my SEO content generated 40% of the monthly leads. At The Salmon Factor, my creative team won a Golden Effie. I make every word count.
TUFFCOPY is built on clarity, impact, and personality. I don’t just write text. I shape perception. The right words get people to act, feel, or remember. The wrong ones get ignored. I make sure your copy never does.
When I’m not doing this, I’m reading historical fiction, travelogues, and classics, or wandering quaint towns in Spain, speaking Spanish while desperately pretending my British accent doesn’t exist. Every insight feeds back into my work.
Want copy, content, and strategy that actually works? That’s what I do.
